Being taught to sew a flannel teddy bear and crochet a granny square before her 6th birthday set Melissa on a path toward a lifelong obsession with textiles. As an adult, she’s a knitter, crocheter, weaver, stitcher, textile designer and wanna-be yarn bomber. She applies a painterly hand to her knit designs, blending pattern and color to create modern textures and images. She’s currently obsessed with her Silver Reed LK 150 knitting machine.
