The Artisan Spinning Wheel uses Scotch tension, and comes with two nylon whorls with four ratios – 1:9, 1:11, 1:13, and 1:15.
Included with each Artisan Spinning Wheel are a poly drive band, threading hook, three bobbins, two whorls, and a lazy kate.
Additional Options
• Additional ratios are available – 1:10, 1:12.5, 1:15, and 1:17. Please add a note to seller when you check out if you would like a whorl with these ratios.
• We offer a light-weight flywheel weighing 2.8 pounds (our standard flywheel weighs 3.7 lbs.). The outward appearance of both wheels is the same. Changing wheels is straightforward and does not require disassembling the wheel frame.
