Cate's Clasp Weft Join

0.00

Working with a lot of short lengths of scrap yarn? Want to avoid weaving in a bazillion ends?

Adapted from a weaving technique, this join lets you combine yarns without having to weave in any ends. While it's not invisible, this join is fast and easy to work.

It yields the best results in garter stitch and stockinette stitch. Not recommended for lace because it will definitely show.

Suitable for natural and superwash wools; not recommended for silk or other slippery yarns, or for bulky or superbulky weights.

I've tested the heck out of it on my natural wool yarns, Helix and Hexa, and other knitters have used successfully it on superwash wools to make Franken-socks out of leftover sock yarns.
