China Hands Mitten Kit

The term “Old China Hand” refers to a foreigner with affinity for, or expertise in, the language and culture of China.

After seven years in Shanghai, I am not nearly as much of a China Hand as I would like to be – but at least these mittens give me China hands!

The design of the left mitten depicts a traditional pavilion and pagoda, while the right mitten shows the China pavilion from the 2010 World Expo and the Pearl Tower, two of modern Shanghai’s most iconic buildings.

The palm and wrist feature motifs of bats, which are auspicious and represent blessings and good fortune.
