Nightingale's Eye by Cate Carter-Evans

Nightingale’s Eye is a study in color inspired by a style of Persian glass-blowing distinguished by diagonal bands of swirling colored glass.

Combining a series of five-color gradients with a light-as-a- feather mohair blend, this cozy scarf starts with a mitred square knit from the center out in concentric rings of color, and continues in bias-knit garter to delicate pointed ends.

After the first few rows, the pattern is easy to memorize and easy to knit – perfect for travel or social knitting.

Finished size is a generous 72 inches / 184 cm in length, 9 inches / 23 cm in width.
