New lovely things: Hayward!
Sometimes in knitting, it all comes together - color, texture, silhouette, and design. This (in my humble opinion) is one of those times.
Please meet Hayward, a gem of a crescent shawl by Susan B. Anderson in Infinite Twist's Helix, shown above in Lichen.
I was lucky enough to get to test-knit the pattern, and love it for its easier-than-it-looks lace and elongated crescent shape.
Hayward looks equally great worn in several ways, and you can dress it up or down. Accentuate the lace by wearing it as a stole over a little black dress, or wear it around your neck scarf-style to add elegance to a more casual outfit.
The land-scape inspired colors all have neutral elements, so they are bright without being over-the-top, and coordinate easily with other garments.
Kits are in the shop now. $72 for full kit, $56 for yarn and pattern only.
