on the needles: handspun log cabin II

This week, I'm returning to an old love: chunky, rustic handspun.

I was really happy with how the Helix version of Log Cabin II turned out, but I wanted to make winter-weight version as well. I went through my stash, and found a bunch of 50 yard lengths of my own handspun from years ago, plus some yarn spun by Zuo, and voila - instant project!

I love how fast the knitting goes - I forgot how quick bulky-weight knits can be. With a few more rows and then the final border, I'm feeling hopeful you'll see this scarf completed by Friday.

What's on your needles this week?
