on the needles: november 3rd
This week, I'm working on a pattern for a smaller version of my Log Cabin Shawl.
I'm quite happy with how the sample is coming out, but there have been a few touch-and-go moments. Each time I've added a new yarn color, I've had a sinking feeling about the color progression for the first two or three rows. Now that I'm through the most worrisome bit from a color perspective, I'm hoping to be able to just relax and enjoy working the rest of the sample.
This colorway was especially fun to dye because it was a special request from Jen of the Down Cellar Studio Podcast. She's a fan of gold, teal, and dark grey together, and you'll see this project move into gold with flecks of teal next.
What's on your needles this week?
