Singapore Postcard: Monarch Cocoon

I had no idea there were Monarch butterflies in Singapore, and yet here was a cocoon on our neighbor's cactus.
I see a lot of different butterflies here, but have yet to determine which species they are - white wings with bright orange bodies, mostly black ones with flashes of metallic blue, lovely dark brown ones - and those are just the outdoor varieties.
These lovelies are from a butterfly exhibit at the Science Centre.
