Wedding Veil

This is another craft project from my wedding. My parents got married in 1966, and my mom looked amazing. She wore an elegantly simple sheath dress, and completed her ensemble with a dramatic bouffant veil.

There was no way I was going to put anything other than that veil on my head for my wedding. It did need a little bit of an update, though - one side had turned a bit beige with age, and the tulle was squashed and matted down from 40 years in a box.

I added a bunch of vintage velvet leaves, and a few sparkles. I used my hairdryer to give the tulle a much-needed blow out, and voila!
