This elegant elongated heart-shaped shawl features a stitch pattern inspired by traditional Japanese sashiko embroidery. If you've done basic brioche before and you're feeling adventurous, this project is for you!

All increases and decreases happen in the same row on the front side of the work, making this a manageable project even if you've never done brioche increases or decreases before.

Designed for Half-n-Half Sock Gradients plus a coordinating skein of sock yarn or sport weight yarn, you can make a truly one-of-a-kind gradient shawl - and might already have half your yarn in your stash!
